My first career was in customer services and management and it was during this time that I first had opportunity to train and work as a coach. This led to my growing fascination with helping people develop and facilitating change.
I went on to qualify as a counsellor with an Advanced Diploma and MA in Counselling (Leeds University). I'm also a BACP senior accredited counsellor / psychotherapist and supervisor (of counsellors and psychotherapists). I have completed an Advanced Coaching Programme (Leeds Beckett University) and undertaken training in telephone and online working.
I have an interest in researching and writing and have managed to publish a number of articles and co-authored a book on therapy supervision.
I charge £60 / hour and we decide together how long our sessions should be, 1 or 1.5 hours is fairly usual. I work primarily remotely via video and telephone. I do not charge for our initial exploratory conversations.
